Blackboard Issue with Opening Documents
Blackboard users may experience an intermittent issue when opening uploaded documents in their course sites and are receiving the message “you do not have access to open this document”. Blackboard File Error Message
Currently some Blackboard users are seeing an error screen when accessing files in their courses. This issue is associated to elevated 530 errors when retrieving files from the CDN, which is powered by Cloudflare. Cloudflare is aware of the issue and working on a fix. An alert will be posted once the issue is resolved.
Panopto Blackboard Integration Errors
The Panopto/Blackboard integration is experiencing an increased error rate with Chrome and Edge browsers. Panopto Inc. is aware of this and working on a resolution. At this time, the workaround is to try using another browser or to go directly to https://towsonu.hosted.panopto.com, selecting Blackboard from the drop down to sign in, then go back to
Crocodoc Services Restored
The Amazon Web Services has been restored. Documents are now able to be previewed and marked within Blackboard. If you have any issues, please Log In and Create a Case here.

Due to an Amazon Web Services outage, the Crocodoc grading/markup system will not be available. This limits: Previewing a submitted assignment Highlighting/marking up a submitted assignment The current workaround is to download the submitted document and grade it within Word.

Panopto Server: Experiencing Issues
On August 15th at 10:38 AM, the Panopto cloud server announced that is it currently experiencing issues. Panopto Support Server Status. This issue will affect many of Panopto’s features, including provisioning. Their server operations team has been notified and they are working on the issue now.
