On Monday, February 13, 2023, Qwickly Attendance users experienced errors when accessing or taking attendance. Qwickly, Inc. Engineers are working on resolving this problem, and a timeline has not yet been issued. We will update this post with more information when it becomes available.
Panopto is currently unavailable. Users are temporarily unable to view or record videos. Panopto Inc. engineers are working to resolve the issue. As soon as we hear back from them, we’ll post an update here.
On Friday, April 22, 2022, there was an unexpected issue with all of the Pearson Lab Tools from Blackboard. The links for Pearson would redirect to the Blackboard Courses list. This issue was resolved on Monday, April 25, 2022.
Amazon Web Services (a web services hosting company that supports a wide range of websites and web apps nationally) is reporting slowness on some of the web services they host. This includes our Blackboard and Panopto services. Both companies are working with Amazon Web Services to resolve the problem.
At approximately 7:05pm Towson Blackboard services went offline and at approximately 7:55pm Towson Blackboard services were restored. Blackboard Inc engineers are investigating the root cause of the outage. If you have any questions please create a service request at https://techelp.towson.edu.

October 7, 2019 between 5:50pm and 6:40pm, Bb Collaborate Ultra and the Bb mobile device apps were unavailable due to a DNS configuration problem at our provider Blackboard Inc.
At approximately 6:25pm Towson Blackboard services went offline and at approximately 7:19pm Towson Blackboard services were restored. Blackboard Inc engineers are investigating the root cause of the outage. If you have any questions please create a service request at techelp.towson.edu.
Blackboard experienced a service interruption on December 12, 2017 from 7:31-7:42pm. Users were unable to access Blackboard or received a Connection Not Private message. Users may have seen this message longer until they refreshed their browser.
