Get ready to put on your scuba gear and find your pressure gauge because librarians from Montgomery College are going to share how we took a deeper dive into the ACRL Framework for Information Literacy. Discover the steps that we took to form an internal book discussion group; learn how this turned into a professional development opportunity that increased and strengthened our understanding around the Frames; and learn how we incorporated Framework concepts into library instruction. We will share the impact this has made on our instruction practices and why it has increased our desire and enthusiasm to keep the professional conversation going as we continue to learn, grow and incorporate the Framework into our instruction.
