As an MLIS student, it is imperative to find ways to connect our coursework with our employment, which may be outside of the library. This session will discuss how an MLIS student found ways to conduct outreach to the University of Maryland libraries from their graduate assistantship within the Department of Mechanical Engineering and connected graduate-level engineering students to resources they previously had not known existed.
