An idea hatched in 2013 about a way to support and encourage the research activities of library faculty, especially those on the permanent status track, led to the launch of the Library Research and Innovative Practice Forum (LRIPF) in 2015. This poster presentation reflects on the origin of the LRIPF and how it has developed, including who made the LRIPF happen, the number and nature of presenters and programs over the years, and how we can begin to assess the impact of the LRIPF on the culture of scholarship and innovation in the Libraries.

I really love this idea and would personally love to see what people are working on!
Hi Heidi! This was really interesting to learn the background on LRIPF and see the numbers. It’s a great opportunity for scholarship and I also think it would be a helpful analysis to see when it has led to additional external scholarship. Thanks for sharing your research!
Thanks for consolidates the stats. This shows continued success of our library staff.
