What happens to library outreach during a pandemic? SU Libraries were faced with moving a beloved contest online in Spring 2020 during Maryland’s COVID-19 stay-at-home order. This presentation highlights the “Finals Fairy in Quarantine” and the efforts taken from conception to execution. We will discuss the practicalities when conducting an outreach activity online, the use of the Libraries’ social media platforms, and lessons learned for future activities.
This session was presented live and recorded at TCAL 2020 on August 12, 2020.
