The update of Blackboard to version Q4 2017 starting on August 11, 2018 at 10:00pm was completed at 6:30am on August 12, 2018.

On Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 8:00-10:00am, Blackboard will be unavailable for schedule maintenance.

Single Sign-On has been added to Blackboard. If you are using a bookmark to get to Blackboard, you will need to update it to blackboard.towson.edu. On Friday, July 20, 2018, Blackboard Inc. Engineers will be performing maintenance from 11:00pm until 7:00am on Saturday, July 21, 2018. During this time, Blackboard will be unavailable.

Single Sign-On will be added to Blackboard Login.  If you are already logged into another TU system when you navigate to Blackboard, you will be automatically logged in to Blackboard.  If not, you will need to enter your NetID and password at the login page and then you will have access to the Blackboard environment.…

On Friday, July 6, 2018, Blackboard Inc. Engineers will be performing maintenance between 12:00am and 6:00am. During this time, Blackboard will be available, but users may experience intermittent outages.

On Saturday, June 16, 2018, Blackboard Inc. Engineers will be performing maintenance from 10:00am to 7:00pm. During this time, Blackboard will be available to all users.

During the weekend of May 11-13, 2018, Blackboard Collaborate Ultra will be receiving maintenance and updates. Because this is a cloud based service, we do not have any control over the downtimes. While you should be able to access Collaborate Ultra during things weekend, please note that you may experience connectivity issues during this time.
