MASON is a small, friendly meeting of number-theorists and mathematicians from fields related to number theory. Faculty, researchers, and students—both graduate and undergraduate—are welcome to attend and, if they are so inclined, to contribute talks.
MASON is relatively recent—the first meeting took place on October 29, 2016. Starting with MASON II, the meetings have taken place over a weekend in early spring:
- MASON II: Towson University, April 7-8, 2018
- MASON III: James Madison University, February 23-24, 2019
- MASON IV: Gettysburg College, March 7-8, 2020
- MASON V: Virtual, March 27-28, 2021
At present, thanks to the generous support of the Number Theory Foundation and the NSF, we are able to provide partial travel support to those MASON participants who lack institutional or grant funding. We hope to be able to sustain this in the future!
