While Towson exudes the qualities of a bustling urban center on its main street, it also contains a relatively new suburban community that branches off from the main road. Towson’s more domicile side is exhibited through one of its neighborhoods called “Towson Green”. Towson Green has been designed with ample green space and parks within its confines making it an ideal place to raise a family and offering a sense of security that is associated with suburban neighborhoods. The secluded community is comparable to an oasis as activity in the city is unlikely to bleed into the neighborhood. While it is vehicle friendly its proximity to Towson urges its residents to take the short walk onto York Road where their city desires can be fulfilled.
