The first week will be an orientation in Tokyo with the Japan-U.S. Educational Commission, where she will get to meet with national leaders in the development of the Japanese – US relationship. After orientation, it is off to Fukuoka!

Her and her family will live in a “Researcher House” on campus, and will have a week to get adjusted and figure out where everything is before classes start! During her time at Kyushu, Dr. Rowe will be teaching Argumentation and Advocacy, Communication Theory, and a graduate-level Qualitative Research Methods course to a mix of international students. After returning to the US in August, Dr. Rowe hopes to continue to strengthen the relationship between Towson University and Kyushu University! Photo courtesy of the City of Fukuoka.
