Following up on earlier alerts from this weeked, an extended and unexpected power outage in the University Union had required that the Union Data Center be taken offline.  The power issues have been resolved, and the data center is now fully online.  All services should be fully restored.

Critical university services such as email, Blackboard, PeopleSoft, phones, the university web site, and file shares continued to remain online, but certain applications that are not redundant across datacenters were offline; this included certain departmental business applications and academic or research servers.

Facilities worked around the clock to resolve the power issues, and OTS worked throughout the weekend to resolve the data center issues to safeguard data and equipment while minimizing the impact to services.

Again, all services should be fully restored.
