About the Archives

The Towson University Archives and Special Collections facilities house the historical records and artifacts of the University, from its founding as a normal school to its present status as a comprehensive metropolitan university. Our collections range from University records, photographs, full runs of course catalogs, yearbooks, and students newspapers, to non-University manuscript collections and artifacts, as well as items from the Baltimore Hebrew Institute Special Collections. If you are interested in learning more about us or visiting the archives please check out our webpage, or call (410-704-2093) or send us an email (spcoll@towson.edu) for further information.

About the Staff

Felicity Knox Library Associate, Towson University Special Collections and Archives

Felicity began working at TU in 2000 and joined the Special Collections and University Archives (SCUA) department 10 years ago. A 1994 graduate of Towson State University, Felicity has always had a profound interest in history and was thrilled with the opportunity to put that interest to good use. She assists researchers, speaks to groups on and off campus, and has written much of the historical narratives found on the SCUA webpages and blog. She was also one of the authors of Towson University: The First 150 Years.
