“It is unworthy of excellent men [and women], to lose hours in the labor of calculation.…My new calculus … offers truth by a kind of analysis and without any effort of imagination.”
Leibniz (1685)

This site contains the labs that will be used throughout the semester in Math 273: Calculus I. These labs will guide you through a variety of experiments to explore the ideas of Calculus while using a computer algebra system called SageMath.

For general instructions on how to complete each lab assignment, see the Instructions page. Your instructor will give you more information about when and how you need to complete the labs during class.

If you would like to play around more with SageMath you can do so here: https://sagecell.sagemath.org/
