- Please make sure you only have Watermark open in one browser window. Opening it in multiple browsers or tabs within the same browser can result in the loss of data.
- Recommended browsers are Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari.
- If information does not appear to be updated in Watermark, please first try logging out and then logging back in again. This is how the data best updates.
- Please be sure to save your work regularly by using the save button at the top right of each page. Otherwise, information may be lost.
- Always sign out of Watermark when finished. Do not simply close the browser. Select the waffle icon in the upper right corner of the page, then select Sign Out. This ensures that information you entered gets fully updated.
- Access the Watermark login page from the MyTU page under “Additional Links.”
Who should I contact if I am unable to log into Watermark?
Email: watermark@towson.edu or call the Watermark Administrator at 410-704-3360. Watermark Client Support representatives can also assist with routine questions, requests, and technical issues. Watermark offers messaging, email and phone support. They recommend first referring to their Help Center. You can find useful resources under Students Learning and Licensure.

How much storage space will students have?
With Watermark, students have unlimited storage space.
Is the system confidential?
All data is securely stored within Watermark and belongs to the individual institution, and Watermark shall make no use or disclosure of the data except for the fulfillment of its obligations within the scope of the Enterprise Software License Agreement with each institution.
What if I experience problems with Watermark?
For issues after normal business hours, please contact Watermark customer support directly at support@watermarkinsights.com or 800-311-5656. During business hours, you may also contact the Towson University Watermark Administrator at watermark@towson.edu or 410-704-3360.
What are some of the best practices for using Watermark?
- Use the most recent versions of the recommended internet browsers.
- DO NOT use the browser back button. Instead, navigate using the tabs and menus within Watermark.
- Using the browser Back button may result in a loss of important information that was not saved.
- DO NOT sign into Watermark in multiple tabs or windows.
- Wait until a page fully loads before taking a subsequent action. (Look for the spinning circle!)
- Always log out of Watermark.
- Save your work frequently.
