I am a professor in the Economics Department at Towson University and have been at the university since 1999.
I teach Macroeconomic Principles, Environmental Economics, and Sports Economics.
I am an applied microeconomist and my research has primarily focused on the sports industry. Recently, I began exploring how to better introduce economics to students in the environmental studies and sciences and environmental education arenas.
I also wrote a book–The Call up to the Majors: A Proximity-Based Approach to the Economics of Minor League Baseball–published by Springer and available at all the usual online retailers.
