Towson University is accepting applications for a Systems Engineer in the Office of Technology Services (OTS). This position will be responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining services within the Platform Engineering team. The Platform Engineering team is responsible for the critical systems and platform infrastructure that underpins most of the systems and applications that university community directly interacts with, including storage and compute infrastructure, virtualization, server provisioning and automation, backup infrastructure, authentication services, privileged account management (PAM), SIEM and monitoring tools, elements of infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and platform-as-a-service (PaaS), and systems architecture. The Systems Engineer will have varying levels of involvement with most, if not all, of these technologies and services.
