Today in TU History: A Parent Bribes the Faculty with Oysters

On January 8th, 1931, a distressed parent attempted to barter their child’s failing grade by sending the faculty a half gallon bucket of oysters. Needless to say, the student’s grade wasn’t changed but the gift was appreciated.
