The COE faculty at Towson University work side by side with the Mursion Simulation Coordinator to create tailored educational opportunities for students. These scenarios provide students the freedom to practice specific teaching skills in a safe and focused environment. With the ability to stop and start the scenarios, students can address challenges that arise in the moment. This allows the instructor the opportunity to coach the teaching student through these challenges and bring in observing students to help assess the situation and problem solve.  

 

Sessions can also allow for students to teach a full or partial lesson plan uninterrupted. This format allows for students to practice timing, approach, and techniques while managing nerves that can easily arise for new teachers.
