The Asian Arts & Culture Center is a fast-paced multi-faceted arts and culture organization that carries out all aspects of typical museums and non-profit organizations with limited resources. The Asian Arts & Culture Center Intern will need to be flexible and willing to advise and assist the AA&CC Director and Program Manager in all aspects of the Center’s marketing and publicity functions, including but not limited to the following:
- Social Media and Website
- Regular posts to AA&CC’s accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr
- Create Events on Facebook to promote Asian Arts events
- Update AA&CC Website – Events page, Members page, Seeking Sponsorship page, eNews, Spotlights
- Manage web content and digital assets (text, photography, video, audio) and prepare for posting
- Marketing/Publicity
- Submit AA&CC events to online community calendars, ex. culturefly.org, enjoybaltimorecounty.com, towson.patch.com, etc.
- Send event print materials to AA&CC mailing lists
- Send eBlasts about upcoming events and exhibitions to AA&CC email lists and media contacts
- Distribute postcards and posters
- Organize photographs
- Write newsletter stories and conduct relevant research
