College of Business & Economics – Student Consultant

The Student Academic & Careers Services office is conducting interviews for their next group of student consultants. This is a unique opportunity for  students to work hand-in-hand with the College of Business & Economics faculty and staff.

Why Should I Become a Student Consultant: Along with gaining experience in advising, as a student consultant you will exercise and enhance your skills in business writing, presentations, teamwork and project management. By sharing your experiences with other students, you will empower them with the knowledge needed to succeed at Towson University. You may find the most rewarding aspect of being a student consultant is helping others and making a difference in the academic careers of your fellow students.

Requirements:

  1. A one year commitment. Student consultants will work various hours from June 2017 through May 2018. (Summer Hours are 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.)
  2. Enrolled in one of the College of Business & Economics’ degree programs.

Compensation: Student consultants will receive compensation in the form of a scholarship.
