Heritage Financial Consultants is a fee based financial planning firm that provides wealth management, risk management, estate planning, education planning, retirement planning and business succession planning for high net worth clients.
The intern assists the financial planners in:
- Preparing annual and bi-annual financial reviews as well as proposed portfolios
- Helping prepare for meetings by ensuring that all financial reviews and proposed portfolios are accurate and complete
- Typing client portfolio recommendations and business letters
- Maintaining our client data base in eMoney and CRM
- Internet research
- Helping us deepen client relationships through systematic emails
- Ensuring that all paperwork and files are in order for client appointments
- Performing special project requests for the financial planners
- Ensuring compliance measures are followed
The position requires:
- A Finance or Economics major with an interest in pursuing the financial planning field as a career
- Experience or demonstrated competencies necessary to work in a team environment
- Possess and display excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to convey information in a clear, focused and concise manner
- Demonstrated computer proficiency and creativity
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters and information
