Recent college grads or alumni accepted.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Data processing involving client renewals
- Processing quarter end reports
- Legal filings and ordering
- Tracking client information
- Assisting in record keeping and resolving discrepancies
- Reconciling invoices
- Following up on missing invoices
- Supporting client managers
- Light internal marketing responsibilities, including updating listing spreadsheets
- Assisting in managing website applications and IT related issues
- Providing assistance to bonds team in processing credit card financial transactions
- Maintaining and keeping bond library organized
- Assisting with electronic file set up and maintaining electronic file database
- Developing a thorough understanding of internal procedures and practices
- Serving as support when client manager is out
- Participating regularly in special projects and management’s request
Additional Job Duties:
- Periodically reviews documents for accuracy prior to customer delivery.
- Occasionally engages in assigned project.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience or some training in accounting
- Property and Casualty license desired; required within one year
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Excellent interpersonal skills for positive interaction with customers and co workers, supporting the team concept of the department
- Proficient computer skills
- Must display a high level of professionalism
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Must have prior experience and common knowledge in using office equipment, primarily computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, scanner and calculator
- Must possess exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Planning and analysis skills required
- The ability to multi-task is essential
- Must possess a keen attention to detail
