Kristin M. Frank is an Associate Professor of Mathematics Education in the Department of Mathematics at Towson University. She earned her Bachelors’ degrees in Architecture and Mathematics from Virginia Tech and her Master’s and Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from Arizona State University.
Kristin’s research focuses on how undergraduate students think about mathematics. Currently she is looking at how students construct and coordinate their meanings for graphs with their images of how quantities change together.
At Towson University, Kristin teaches calculus and content courses for pre-service elementary and secondary teachers.
