COURSE DESCRIPTION
Concept and Story Development is an introduction to concept development and storytelling methods through a variety of writing assignments. Students will generate ideas and stories for projects in electronic media and film.
COURSE OVERVIEW
This course is designed to provide knowledge about the basic principles and techniques of storytelling, with an emphasis on its place as a foundational part of the production cycle in Electronic Media and Film. Through lectures, screenings, workshops, in-class demonstrations, reading assignments and projects, students will develop personal work that demonstrates a comprehension of storytelling fundamentals.
