Professor McGinley has served as an academic and professional advisor for undergraduate psychology students at Towson University since 2015. More recently, he has taken on a role as one the department’s designated undergraduate advisors, which allows him to serve over 1400 students. He has also expanded his advising role by joining the Pre-medical/Pre-dental Committee at Towson, where he provides guidance and feedback to undergraduates aspiring for admittance to medical/dental programs. Starting in 2022, he also serves as the founder and co-supervisor of the psychology department’s monthly undergraduate newsletter.
As a director of a research lab, he has also worked to curate resources for students who are aspiring for future careers in research.
