It could begin like just another day, when the unthinkable happens and an active shooter event occurs. This film profiles the experiences of a handful of students, professors and staff who come face to face with an active shooter attack on a college campus. Depicting the three recommended actions to take if ever in such a situation – Avoid, Deny, Defend – this public service message seeks to promote increased awareness and preparedness in the community. Produced by Towson University’s Office of Public Safety, the Towson University Police Department, and the Department of Electronic Media and Film.
