Support for Home and the Human
The “Home and the Human” project is supported primarily by the Martha A. Mitten Endowment fund. A BTU Emerging Idea grant has contributed resources in 2019-2020. BTU, or Baltimore-Towson University, is an initiative driven by Towson University to facilitate partnerships between the university and external entities, both non-profits and businesses. BTU helps to facilitate the partnerships between “Home and the Human” and the Baltimore Immigration Outreach Service Center and Soccer without Borders, Baltimore.
TU Faculty at the Baltimore Immigration Summit
The Baltimore Immigration Summit is a one-day event which brings together academics, policy makers, service providers, activists, community leaders, and others working with and for New Americans (immigrants & refugees) in our region. Baltimore and its surrounding suburbs represent an area with a growing and diverse New American population, and local governments view New Americans as essential to the region’s ongoing resurgence.
Home and the Human is supported by the Martha A. Mitten Endowment in the College of Liberal Arts at Towson University
