In conjunction with the symposium, Towson University’s Albert S. Cook Library is establishing an open-access online repository of innovative Holocaust curriculum materials. Thus, we are seeking educators to create the lesson plans that will make up this repository.

Those selected to be lesson plan authors will each receive $400 and will be expected to do the following:

    • Have an idea for an innovative lesson plan to teach about the Holocaust. This lesson plan can be for any age group.
    • Complete an asynchronous 1-hour online training about writing lesson plans for this project by April 30, 2022
    • Attend or watch the recording of the Holocaust Education Symposium on February 23, 2022 and integrate the symposium material into the lesson plans they are developing
    • Finalize the lesson plan by June 30, 2022

If you are interested in becoming an author, please complete this form by March 11, 2022. Applicants will be notified by March 25, 2022 if they have been accepted to be curriculum authors.
