Fingerprinting and Orientation Materials- Required of All TU Students
- Complete both Step 1 Fingerprinting and Step 2 Orientation Materials on the Harford County Public Schools website: https://www.hcps.org/staff/studentinterns.aspx
- All TU students must be fingerprinted in HCPS by July 19.
- HCPS has advised that all TU interns matriculate to full-time interns and thus should follow the full-time fingerprinting directions.
- All TU students must complete trainings between July 8 – August 2.

What if I have been fingerprinted recently by HCPS or another district in Maryland?
- HCPS does not accept fingerprint background checks from other districts. All interns with an internship in HCPS must be fingerprinted by HCPS.
- If you have been fingerprinted by HCPS within the last 365 days, you will not need to be fingerprinted again. Please email CPP@towson.edu if you have been an active substitute in the district.
