The EMPOWER Jumpstart: English Language Learners in your Classroom
The EMPOWER Jumpstart is a series of 5 modules that will provide you with the background information that will help you to plan for and nurture culturally- and linguistically-diverse students. The primary audience for this program is classroom teachers, but all those who work in today’s schools will benefit from learning more about the creation of welcoming environments for our student population. Each module should take you 20-30 minutes to complete with an overall training time of 2 – 3 hours.
