Titanocene (II) complexes have been shown by our group and others to display remarkable chemical properties as catalysts for hydroboration reactions. In our group, we investigate the scope of this chemistry and have applied titanocene (II) systems to hydroboration of heteroatom-containing unsaturated substrates, and found that the systems perform rapidly, selectively and cleanly.
