This year’s Weinman Cup Regional Supply Chain Case Competition hosted by TU’s College of Business and Economics went virtual with teams presenting their cases to judges using WebEx (April 2020)

Stevenson University took first place and Towson University placed second based on a Pandora Jewelry case.

TU‘s team members Erik Bell, Mark Chorosinski, and David Williams (ENTR) were advised by Professor Chaodong Han and were praised by the Pandora judges for their excellent critical thinking in analyzing the case and use of quantitative approaches to develop their recommendations.

Towson University won first place in the fifth annual Weinman Cup Supply Chain Management Case Competition in March 2019.

Yeabsira Mezgebe and Beza Wondimu, both juniors studying project management and business analysis who were mentored by their professor Chaodong Han, Ph.D., took first place. Teams from Stevenson University and Morgan State University took second and third place, respectively.

Mentored by professor Chaodong Han, Fresia Blanco-Romero, Megan Price and Meredith Price represented Towson and won the first place

Judges for this year’s competition came from companies in the region, including McCormick, Stanley Black & Decker, and Samuel Shapiro Company.
