Bart J. Debicki, Ph.D., is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Management in the College of Business and Economics. He has been a faculty member at Towson University since 2011. His research interests are primarily in family business management, entrepreneurship, management strategy, international and multicultural management, management history, management education, and the video game development industry. His research has appeared in journals, such as the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Management History, Family Business Review, Entrepreneurship: Theory and Practice, Cross-Cultural and Strategic Management, Journal of Family Business Strategy, and the International Journal of Management Education, among others. In the College of Business and Economics, he has served as a member, secretary, and chair of the CBE Faculty Development and Research Committee, member and chair of the CBE Council, as well as in various capacities on departmental committees. He is also currently serving as the Chair of the Academic Senate. He was selected for the Distinguished Professor Program at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Guadalajara, Mexico, conducts management and international business seminars at various institutions around the world, and has won multiple research and service awards for his scientific and editorial contributions and service in professional organizations. He also served on the Board of Directors as the Director of Sponsorship for the Southern Management Association.
