What is a Diversity Abroad Overseas Ambassador, you ask?
Essentially, an Overseas Ambassador would serve as a representative for Diversity Abroad during their study/intern/volunteer abroad experience. They are leaders that will explore the issues affecting diverse students abroad, and will share that experience with the larger study abroad community. The responsibilities include:
- Documenting your experience through photos/videos posted on DiversityAbroad.com
- Writing at least one article every two weeks on a topic related to education abroad and your identity, location, and career/field of study
- Sharing tips and answer questions via the Diversity Abroad Forum
In return for your contributions, you will receive a $500 stipend, a Diversity Abroad swag bag, opportunities for your work to be published on DiversityAbroad.com, professional career experience, and much more!
