The Fund for Education Abroad is a fully philanthropic organization that was created in 2010 to fulfill the need for an independent study abroad scholarship provider. Thanks to the generous donations of individuals and corporations, FEA is able to grant scholarships of up to $10,000.
FEA is looking for students from traditionally underrepresented groups as well as students planning to study in nontraditional locations. In order to be eligible, you must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or DACA student currently enrolled as an undergraduate in a U.S. university or college and planning to study abroad for at least one semester.

The application window is currently open for the 2016-2017 academic year (summer 2016, fall 2016, spring 2017)! The application cycle closes on January 18, 2016 at 12PM EST. FEA is anticipating awarding 50 scholarships during the 2016-2017 academic cycle.
