International Recruitment Marketing Coordinator Internship (2 vacancies)

Towson University’s Office of International Recruitment has vacancies for International Marketing Coordinator Interns during the 2015 Fall term.  The Internship is non-paid, and requires a commitment of at least 120 hours.  The role directly supports the Director for International Recruitment on a variety of marketing and outreach efforts, as well administrative functions pertaining to Towson University’s international student recruitment strategy.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas:

  • Marketing Research & Strategy
    • Effectively research, source and qualify potential overseas partner institutions and government organizations;
    • Assist International Recruitment Director with development and implementation of TU’s International Recruitment Strategy
  • Promotion & Outreach
    • Lead several efforts, including advertising and promotion of educational programs to potential partner institutions;
  • Manage and update current social media sites (Facebook) to reach prospective students and overseas institutions & organizations;
  • Assist in the development and production of promotional/marketing materials to recruit international students such as videos of students’ testimonials, Power Point presentations;
  • Assist in managing CRM for International Recruitment; and
  • Assist in the development and design of logos, written and online materials for International Initiatives.

International Research Coordinator Internship (2 vacancies)

Towson University’s Division of International Initiatives has vacancies for International Research Coordinator Interns during the 2015 fall term.  The Internship is non-paid, and requires a commitment of at least 120 hours.  The role directly supports the Assistant Vice President for International Initiatives on a variety of research activities, which contribute to the overall success of Towson University’s International strategic plan.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas:

  • Research Assessment & Analysis
    • Effectively research, source and qualify potential overseas partner institutions and government organizations;
    • Evaluate and assess international strategies and best practices of Towson University’s peer and aspirational institutions

Short-term International Programs Coordinator Internship (2 vacancies)

Towson University’s Office of International Partnerships has vacancies for Short-term International Programs Coordinator Interns during the fall 2015 term.  The Internship is non-paid, and requires a commitment of at least 120 hours.  The role directly supports the Director on a variety of international studies and business administrative related functions which contribute to the overall success of the International Partnerships Office.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas:

  • Marketing & Market Research
    • Effectively research, source and qualify potential overseas partner institutions and governments for short-term student and professional development programs;
    • Conduct benchmarking analysis and report findings to Director
    • Assist in promotion of educational packages to potential partner institutions;
    • Manage and update current social media sites, and support Director with the creation of new accounts
  • Finance
    • Evaluate program cost structures, and support Director in budget forecasting for current and future programs;
  • Management
    • Provide project support in the design and implementation of customized programs per institutional guidelines and preferences; and
    • Administer various aspects of community partner program, TUFI (Towson University Friends of Internationals), communicating key information with families and maintain family/friend database.
