Meet the Entrepreneurs-in-Training for fall 2017

The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Student Launch Pad welcome four new Entrepreneurs-in-Training for the fall 2017 semester. Entrepreneurs-in-Training (EiT) is an awards-based program where top entrepreneurial-minded students serve as entrepreneurial ambassadors and get access to exclusive, hands-on experiences.

Meet the fall 2017 EiTs.

jorge birtoJorge Brito

Jorge is a junior majoring in Computer Science. He, along with his co-founder Roman Fuentes, won the Best Big Idea award in the fall 2017 Big Idea Poster Competition for Dibble, an app focusing on reducing food waste by selling near-end-of-shelf-life food at a discounted price. The EiT position is a perfect fit for him, as he is an aspiring entrepreneur, has a passion for helping people attain their goals, and places a high priority on professionalism. He is looking forward to building new relationships and encouraging entrepreneurial growth at Towson University.

abby macqueenAbby MacQueen
Abby MacQueen has a passion for the ocean and recently competed in the Big Idea Poster Competition with Guppi, a sustainable clothing brand. A junior majoring in mass communications with a concentration in advertising, she is also pursuing a double minor in entrepreneurship and marketing.Abby is excited to be a part of the team and looks forward to contributing her experience in marketing and public relations with fellow entrepreneurs.

 Alysha Payne
Alysha Payne is the Master Facilitator of Communication for Break Box USA, LLC, and functions as Co-Executive Director/Co-Founder of local non-profit, Abuntu Health Solutions, Inc. She also runs a personal brand business. Previous experience includesworking with many companies  across America, from school organizations and local businesses to NASA. As a senior Design Studies major, Alysha is passionate about creating and educating communities through technology. With a love of writing, she has been published on nationalentertainment and news websites.

Ryan Perpall is the founder of Break Box USA LLC, where glass recycling meets creative destruction. To learn more visit www.BreakBoxUSA.com. Ryan has a passion for venture building and believes we must create to progress as a society. He is partuclarly experienced in utilizing free resources, business modeling, building and leveraging networks, and rapid research. Ryan is a great sounding board and connector. He is currently a junior pursuing a degree in strategic public relations with a minor in entrepreneurship.
