2018-19 sabbatical

I will be on sabbatical for the 2018-19 academic year. I will be spending a couple of days a week at the US Geological Survey (USGS), MD-DE-DC Water Science Center and a couple of days a week in Earth & Planetary Sciences at Johns Hopkins University.

A major focus of my sabbatical research will be to use high-frequency conductivity data collected by the USGS and other agencies to better characterize how frequently and for how long the EPA ambient life criteria for chloride are exceeded in streams.
